RouteContractor.AI, a service of Cox Logistics Inc (“we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit routecontractor.ai (and related domains routecontractor.com, routecontractor.net, routecontractor.org, and theroutecontractor.com, which redirect to routecontractor.ai), why we collect it, and what we do with it.
By using this site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us directly
- Email address — when you sign up for our newsletter, request a lead magnet, join a waitlist, or contact us via email or a form on the site.
- Name — if you provide it via a form.
- Anything else you choose to send us — by email.
We do not currently process payments on this site. If and when we begin selling products (such as the planned Employee Handbook Generator), this Policy will be updated to describe payment data handling.
Reader comments are disabled site-wide. If comments are ever enabled in the future, this Policy will be updated to describe how comment data is handled.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages viewed, referring URL, device type, browser, and approximate location (country). Collected via Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless).
- Analytics data — pages viewed, on-page events, device/browser, and approximate location, collected via Google Analytics 4 (Google). GA4 sets first-party cookies to measure traffic and distinguish visitors.
- Behavior data — anonymized session recordings and heatmaps showing how visitors interact with pages (clicks, scrolls, navigation paths). Collected via Microsoft Clarity. Sensitive form fields and personal text inputs are masked by default. Used to understand which articles and features readers find useful.
- Server logs — IP address, request timestamp, HTTP request path. Retained briefly by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.

2. Why we collect it
- To send you newsletters and updates you have subscribed to.
- To respond to questions and inquiries you send us.
- To understand which articles are useful so we can write more of what readers find valuable.
- To detect and prevent abuse, spam, and security threats.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share your email address with third parties for their own marketing.
3. Service providers
We use third-party services to operate the site. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Hosting — Cloudflare Pages. Stores site content and minimal server logs.
- DNS, security, and edge — Cloudflare. Provides DDoS protection, bot management, and TLS.
- Traffic analytics — Cloudflare Web Analytics. Privacy-preserving, cookieless usage measurement.
- Behavior analytics — Microsoft Clarity. Provides anonymized session recordings and heatmaps; masks sensitive form fields by default. Governed by Microsoft’s privacy policy.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC). Measures site traffic and engagement; sets first-party cookies. Governed by Google’s privacy policy.
- Email forwarding — Cloudflare Email Routing. Forwards
customersupport@routecontractor.aito our team inbox. - Newsletter — MailerLite. Stores subscriber email addresses and engagement data.
When you submit information through our site, that information may be processed by these providers on our behalf. We choose providers we believe are reputable, but we are not responsible for their privacy practices beyond what we configure.
4. Cookies
This site does not use cookies for advertising or for selling your data.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics measures site usage via a privacy-preserving image beacon and does not use cookies.
- Microsoft Clarity sets first-party cookies (typically
_clckand_clsk) to identify returning visitors and group page views into sessions. These cookies do not contain personal information you have provided to us and are not shared with advertisers. You can opt out at https://privacy.microsoft.com/. - Google Analytics 4 sets first-party cookies (typically
_gaand_ga_*) to measure traffic and distinguish visitors. These are not used for advertising. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. - MailerLite may set cookies if you interact with the newsletter form, governed by its own privacy policy.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may affect site functionality. If we add advertising cookies in the future, this Policy will be updated.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information:
- California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion of your information, to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” (we do neither), and to be free from discrimination for exercising your rights.
- EU/UK residents (GDPR/UK GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing.
- All visitors: You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in the footer of any email we send.

6. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Data retention
- Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics data: per Cloudflare Web Analytics default retention (typically a rolling window of recent traffic).
- Behavior analytics: per Microsoft Clarity retention defaults (session recordings retained for a limited window, aggregated heatmaps for longer; see Clarity’s terms for current specifics).
- Google Analytics: per the GA4 property’s configured retention (default 2 or 14 months for event data).
- Server logs: typically 30–90 days, depending on the hosting provider’s configuration.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect. No internet transmission or storage system is fully secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International transfers
We are based in the United States. If you access the site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top. Material changes will be announced via the newsletter or a notice on the site.
